Sickness Disability Plan
Combined Insurance’s Sickness Disability Plan will…
Help you maintain your standard of living by providing regular monthly benefit payments if a covered sickness prevents you from working. We also pay a benefit for partial disability due to any covered sickness. (Please refer to the Insurance Terms page of this site for the definitions of total and partial disability)
You can’t guarantee your health, but you can be prepared in case you’re ill.
Should you be unable to perform your usual business or occupation as a result of a covered sickness and be under the care of a doctor, in or out of hospital, Combined Insurance will pay you up to;
$1,600 per month for total disability paid up to 12 months and up to $800 per month for partial disability paid up to 2 months. Your benefits may begin from the very first day of your disability depending on the plan you select.
You will be covered with Combined Insurance…
• If you suffer total disability because of a covered sickness
• Or for partial disability due to a covered sickness
You can use Combined Insurance’s Sickness Disability Plan to:
• Supplement your lost earnings
• Supplement the earnings of your spouse/partner if they take time off work
• Pay for someone to look after your children
• Help towards medical expenses or home nursing
• Help pay for home help to do the jobs around the house and garden
• Pay for everyday living expenses
• Pay for any extra travel costs
• Help you take a holiday to recuperate
How you choose to use the benefit is completely up to you.
In summary, Combined Insurance’s Sickness Disability Plan provides you with:
• Monthly benefits for total disability due to a covered sickness up to $1,600 a month
• Total disability benefits are payable for up to 12 months
• An additional benefit of up to $800 a month payable up to 2 months for partial disability due to a covered sickness
• No medical examination is required to purchase the policy
Note: You will not be covered for any sickness condition that is contracted, commenced or originated prior to, or within the first 30 days of taking this insurance.
