Accident Hospital Plan

Combined Insurance’s Accident Hospital Plan will pay you benefits if you suffer any covered injury...
• At home
• At work
• At play
Any time 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

We all like to think that accidents won’t happen to us, however…

• There are over 10,000 road accidents causing around 400 deaths and almost 14,000 injuries annually.1
• More than 37,000 people suffered from an injury that saw them off work for over a week, with over  200,000 work related accidents recorded in New Zealand in 20082
• One in seven New Zealanders are injured at the home.  Over 25,000 will end up in hospital due to their injury3
• Over 26,000 New Zealanders were injured in 2007/08 whilst taking part in sport4

So if you should suffer an accident the last thing you want to worry about is how to pay the bills. With benefits of up to $200 a day if you are admitted to hospital overnight, up to $200 a day for convalescence and lump sum payments of up to $1,000 if you suffer a major fracture; the Accident Hospital Plan from Combined Insurance helps remove that worry, enabling you to concentrate on getting better.
