Accident Disability Plan

Combined Insurance’s Accident Disability Plan will pay you a monthly benefit if you suffer a covered injury due to an accident…

  • At home
  • At work
  • At play

Any time 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

In case you’re hurt at home, at work, at play or in any other accidental circumstances whatsoever and you are unable to perform all or some of your usual daily duties, Combined Insurance may pay from the very first day depending on the plan you select and for up to 30 days if necessary, at the rate of up to $600 a month.
If you continue to be totally disabled after 30 days, the good news is that we will double the monthly benefit for the next five months up to $1,200.
In case of serious injuries, should you lose your life or suffer from paraplegia, quadriplegia as a result of any accident we will pay you a lump sum benefit of up to $30,000 or should that happen while traveling as a fare paying passenger on a licensed public transport service we will pay you a lump sum benefit of up to $300,000.


You will be covered with Combined Insurance …

  • Whilst driving or as a passenger in any motor vehicle, motorcycle or bicycle
  • At the hands of a burglar or by personal assault
  • Injuries caused by fire
  • Any farm accidents, all types of construction, industrial or any work related activity without restriction
  • Playing any sport or taking part in any recreational activity

In other words…in most accidental circumstances. ( Terms and Exclusions apply)


You could use Combined Insurance’s Accident Disability Plan to:

  • Supplement your lost earnings
  • Supplement the earnings of your spouse/partner if they take time off work
  • Pay for someone to look after your children
  • Help towards medical expenses
  • Pay for any extra travel costs
  • Help you take a holiday to recuperate

How you choose to use the benefit is completely up to you.


In summary, Combined Insurance’s Accident Disability Plan provides you with:

  • Monthly benefits for total or partial loss of time of up to $600 a month for the first 30 days
  • Additional benefits for total loss of time of up to $1200 a month starting from the 31st day of disability and for up to five months
  • Cover against accidental injury for any covered accidental circumstances
  • Flexibility to use the benefits how you want to
  • Benefits for accidental injury even though you may not be hospitalised, from just 62 cents a day
